Responsibilities
- Maintenance of all Electrical, Civil and Mechanical equipment across the MDC site.
- Planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance of all plants and warehouse equipment including MHEs, Generators, power panels, Utility, sprinkler systems etc.
- Provide in-house support for Unilever external activities.
- Documentation of activities and build a data base for facilities maintenance.
- Maintenance of company asset at the Mega DC.
- Maintain and manage all service contracts with third party services providers.
- Manage the external environment of the Mega DC.
- Manage safety and environment in the team and ensure compliance with Unilever safety policy.
- Coordinate, coach and develop subordinates in line with Unilever capability building strategy.
- Manage distribution projects at the Mega DC as the need arise.
- Ensure delivery of set target standards in line with quality for money expended on asset maintenance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Minimum of 3years work experience in a similar position.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Excellent project management experience.
- Excellent people management skills.
- Experience in inventory/asset management and warehouse equipment operations.
