Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of all Electrical, Civil and Mechanical equipment across the MDC site.
  • Planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance of all plants and warehouse equipment including MHEs, Generators, power panels, Utility, sprinkler systems etc.
  • Provide in-house support for Unilever external activities.
  • Documentation of activities and build a data base for facilities maintenance.
  • Maintenance of company asset at the Mega DC.
  • Maintain and manage all service contracts with third party services providers.
  • Manage the external environment of the Mega DC.
  • Manage safety and environment in the team and ensure compliance with Unilever safety policy.
  • Coordinate, coach and develop subordinates in line with Unilever capability building strategy.
  • Manage distribution projects at the Mega DC as the need arise.
  • Ensure delivery of set target standards in line with quality for money expended on asset maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Minimum of 3years work experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Excellent project management experience.
  • Excellent people management skills.
  • Experience in inventory/asset management and warehouse equipment operations.
