Responsibilities

  • Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports.
  • Perform account reconciliations and analyses.
  • Prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles.
  • Analyse and prepare financial statements.
  • Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits, customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them.
  • Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues.
  • Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Forecast and plan resource requirements.
  • Lead functional or segment teams or projects.
  • Provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues.

Qualifications and Skills

  • HND/B.Sc with 3 to 5 years work experience.
  • ACA is an added advantage.
  • Good communication, interpersonal skills, Team Building & Leadership and Creative problem Solving.
  • Experience in Contracts and financial advisory.
  • Possess knowledge of basic operating systems.
  • Good statistical and analytical skills.
  • Financial and Strategic Planning.
  • Financial structuring, budgetary analysis, cost control, Balance Sheet, P&L statements and Cash flow reports.
  • Accounting software and MS office.
  • Ability to process and resolve Tax matters.
