Job Description

Major Account Executive (AE- Major) role adds value to Microsoft by delivering a well-managed , profitable and growing business produced through relationship and sales excellence practices where the customer views the AE staff as a trusted advisor. The AE- Major World Class profile is a synthesis of science and art of selling . The art refers to the nature of the AE- Major(C), attitude (A), the relation( R) and emotional intelligence(E).

Science refers to sales excellence in Relationship Management , Opportunity Management and management enabled through tools, processes and business dashboards. Together, they build strong relations advisor, we give high customer satisfaction and achievement of objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Expand the footprint of accounts through year on year percentage increase in the number of addressable business by the customer (AR).
  • Achieve growth account for an increase in turnover and net signed EA – new revenue opportunity while meeting annual targets for sales.
  • Increasing integration every year partners and services for key victories.
  • Reach increasing year by year in the customer satisfaction, as measured by scores relationship management.
  • Ensure mutual satisfaction conditions (COS ) set up for each account that meet the quality standards set by sales management and included as part of a comprehensive plan updated account.
  • Generate business value in all threads and all proposals with the client.
Key Initiatives and Challenges
  • Achieve a better understanding of the competitive landscape in the customer base , customers are looking for ways to reduce the cost of their business model.
  • Gain more in-depth work on industry solutions or vertically to meet the needs of customers and the value proposition of the company that Microsoft offers helping customers meet their challenges and business opportunities.
  • Develop a deeper understanding of the market and a thorough knowledge of the industry and customers of core business processes across customer.
  • Find effective ways to sell an understanding of economic / market current conditions through the structuring of project creation, how to create, value propositions, etc., that demonstrates how Microsoft customers can save money and get the most value from their investment.

Qualifications

  • BSC in Business Administration with exposure to information technology (or equivalent) is required, MBA is preferable.
  • Strong sales and professional background focused on Microsoft technologies.
  • 5-10 + years of experience in related industry.
  • Thorough understanding of key competitive technologies.
  • Extensive experience in working with EI ( virtual and local ) is required.
  • Ability to articulate the benefits of Microsoft technologies to senior business and technical decision makers mapped to the operational priorities of the customer base.
