Job Description

Our client, a research based international pharmaceutical company in the business of manufacturing and distributing quality healthcare products, seeks the services of an experienced professional for the position of a National Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities

• As a brand executive, you will be responsible for a full spectrum of brand management of household brands in a pharmaceutical organization. In this capacity, you will research the external and internal business environment, draft marketing plans for allocated products based on MEP (Marketing Excellence Programme).
• Manage KOL (Key Opinion Leaders), gain insights and plan strategies in order to achieve and grow market share.
• Identify and analyse local requirements; identify/ analyse gaps in product portfolio with a view to present business case for improvement and development of pharmaceutical products.
• Project and meet/exceed sales target and generate profits for allocated brands.
• Liaise with the brand manager to develop local marketing strategies, align with national plan, and assist in the execution of the strategies in order to meet local marketing needs.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm). (Possession of a relevant Master degree will be an advantage).
• A minimum of 2 – 3 years work experience in the related field is required.
• Proven leadership skills with strong business acumen.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with client handling capability.
• Demonstrate strength in problem solving, defining needs and initiating action to achieve goals.
• Mature, resourceful and self-driven with a strong sense of commitment.
• Proficient in computer application.
