Responsibilities
- The Technical Safety Officer will be expected to support the completion of technical Safety studies for the design and execute phases of projects.
- Technical Studies.
- Drive compliance with Ship Collision Studies.
- Implement and maintain Fire, Gas dispersion and explosion analysis.
- Maintain Fire protection and deluge system.
- Coordinate HAZOPS, HAZIDs and HRA.
- Deal with Riser and SSIV risk Assessment.
- Release and exhaust gas dispersion.
- Hull Design and security risk studies.
- Human Factor Engineering.
- Qualitative Risk Assessment.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree or equivalent with 5-10years experience in upstream and or downstream and 3+ years as a member of a deepwater project team in an HSE role.
- Should have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering key HSE projects on time, within scope with end-to-end accountability.
- Ideally a strategic thinker with a sense of good judgment.
- Able to deal with multiple, often conflicting goals and priorities.
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships with leaders as well as team members.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
