Responsibilities

• The Technical Safety Officer will be expected to support the completion of technical Safety studies for the design and execute phases of projects.
• Technical Studies.
• Drive compliance with Ship Collision Studies.
• Implement and maintain Fire, Gas dispersion and explosion analysis.
• Maintain Fire protection and deluge system.
• Coordinate HAZOPS, HAZIDs and HRA.
• Deal with Riser and SSIV risk Assessment.
• Release and exhaust gas dispersion.
• Hull Design and security risk studies.
• Human Factor Engineering.
• Qualitative Risk Assessment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent with 5-10years experience in upstream and or downstream and 3+ years as a member of a deepwater project team in an HSE role.
• Should have a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering key HSE projects on time, within scope with end-to-end accountability.
• Ideally a strategic thinker with a sense of good judgment.
• Able to deal with multiple, often conflicting goals and priorities.
• Able to build and maintain strong relationships with leaders as well as team members.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
