Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports.
- Perform account reconciliations and analyses.
- Prepare journal entries and review accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles.
- Analyse and prepare financial statements.
- Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits, customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them.
- Serve as a key resource on complex and/or critical issues.
- Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Forecast and plan resource requirements.
- Lead functional or segment teams or projects.
- Provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues.
Qualifications and Skills
- HND/B.Sc with 3 to 5 years work experience.
- ACA is an added advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal skills, Team Building & Leadership and Creative problem Solving.
- Experience in Contracts and financial advisory.
- Possess knowledge of basic operating systems.
- Good statistical and analytical skills.
- Financial and Strategic Planning.
- Financial structuring, budgetary analysis, cost control, Balance Sheet, P&L statements and Cash flow reports.
- Accounting software and MS office.
- Ability to process and resolve Tax matters.
