Key Responsibilities
 Responsible for conducting the company’s equipment training activities such as training of new operators, re-assessments of experienced operators, supervision of trainees, reports on individual operators
 Performs hands-on training of the operators on the following container handling equipment: Cranes, Reach Stacker, Empty Handler, Terminal Trucks, Fork Lift and Sky lift.
 Maintain skill and experience as senior operator.
 Demonstrates proper and correct operation and maintenance of the equipment. Provides instruction in applicable safety rules and regulations.
 Enters electronic records of all courses completed by company staff, with attendance, grades, final report, and so forth.
 Gives specific input that will help in compilation of training packages
 When required will operate plant in operations including Terminal Trucks, Fork Lift, Empty Handler, Reach Stackers and the Cranes.
 To assist Operations and HSE with incident reviews and subsequent remedial learning.
 Performs other related activities as requested.
 Has a valid Driving Licence.
 Drive terminal trucks using safe driving techniques and safe parking procedures.
Who we are looking for
 Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate/First Leaving School Certificate
 Experience with Mobile Harbor Cranes, Rubber Gantry Cranes, Spreaders and associated equipment
 Requires some previous experience that demonstrates an ability to train, and give instructions to others.
 Should possess Communication, Presentation and People skills.
 Requires the ability to communicate both in English & Pidgin English.
 Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office Tools
 Must Have Valid Driver’s License
