The French Section of Médecins Sans Frontières is recruiting for its project in Jahun:
MATERNITY- SUPERVISOR
Open To Qualified Mid-Wives/ Nurse Midwife

Context

Job Description

Supervising all operational aspects of the Maternity ward.
Ensure and follow the statistics and data collection
Manage the Maternity staff in administrative and technical aspects
Required Skills and Conditions
Nigerian Registered Mid-wife/ Nurse Qualification;
Strong experience in mid-wifery.
Good Understanding of Concepts/Roles in supervision.
Strong experience in management and Leadership minimum 1 year.
Good Understanding of organizational Behavior and People Management.
Strong work ethic, commitment to humanitarian objectives.
Motivation, flexibility and capacity to work as a team and in emergency program
Good Computer skills (word and Excel).
Experience in Clinical Training (mentoring).
Should have knowledge of Pharmacy management.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Hausa.
Work Location
Jahun Hospital, Jigawa State (Nigeria).
Contract
Contract starting December 2013.
208 working hours per month and night duty.
Roster flexibility required.
